Practical Nursing
Sprott Shaw College’s Practical Nursing (PN) program will prepare students for a rewarding career in health care. Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in BC provide nursing services to patients and their families across the lifespan in a variety of hospital, community, residential care and home care environments under the direction of Physicians, RNs and RPNs. The care PNs provide is based on focused patient assessments and care planning procedures.

Welcome to our Penticton campus! We are located in the heart of the South Okanagan, easily accessed from Summerland, the Oliver / Osoyoos region and Keremeos to the west. Penticton is an amazing little city nestled between not 1, but 2, world famous lakes; we are hot in the summer and mild in the winter. Spend the summer at the beach, floating down the river channel or exploring the surrounding hills and vineyards. Just don’t forget to pick up some fresh, locally grown fruit along the way. If winter is your season for fun, we are a short 30 minute drive from Apex Ski Resort, home of world class skiing and boarding.
